"Information about the 2 year Hubbing ceremony"
 
 
The Hub has become a lifeline for many of us, and as our days in recovery
accumulated, we came to realize it would be very heartwarming to acknowledge
this achievement.
 
Why 2 years? Well, with the limitations of cyberspace, and the number of
posters/hubsters we had to decide on one milestone to celebrate in this way.
 
We started out with the first ceremony on March 6th, 2004. It was a live
ceremony for Carole (BC), as I had planned a visit to meet her when she had
reached this special milestone.
 
I needed help to carry out the ceremony, and Joni B graciously helped me put
it together. It simply is a reading of wishes we have for the milestoner and
presenting them with a memento of this special event.
 
Being that I do not have the means to travel to every Hubster with a 2 year
milestone coming up we decided I could send a memento, and share our wishes
for them in the chat room or the posting board as they chose.
 
I will be maintaining the Hubbing dates so if I miss anyone please email me
at beetle444@comcast.net , so we can arrange the ceremony as soon as
possible.  I usually post the names from the LDG list a few months prior to
the 2 years, so I have time to make the arrangements.
